Hidden Battleship Tour

Offered only four times this coming year, Hidden Battleship takes adventurous visitors beyond the traditional self-guided tour and into unrestored areas of the Battleship North Carolina Memorial that are normally closed to the public. Led by experienced guides in small groups, participants explore spaces deep below deck, throughout the third deck, in the bow, and high into the Ship's superstructure—including all the way to the top. The 2027 Hidden Battleship tours will be offered on: Saturday, February 27Saturday, March 20Saturday, April 24Saturday, November 20Each tour runs from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. The cost is $75 per participant, plus tax. Designed for adventurous history enthusiasts, the six-hour experience requires climbing ladders, crossing high hatches, and navigating tight and confined spaces. For that reason, the program is limited to participants ages 16 and older. "Every compartment aboard the Battleship has a story," said Dr. Jay Martin, Executive Director of Battleship North Carolina Memorial. "Hidden Battleship opens doors that are normally closed, inviting visitors to step into the spaces where sailors lived, worked, and fought—and to experience the Ship in a way very few people ever will." Because attendance is intentionally limited to provide a safe, behind-the-scenes experience, Hidden Battleship consistently sells out well in advance. The experience has become a favorite among repeat visitors, military history enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone looking to explore a side of the Ship that few ever have the opportunity to see. Whether you're searching for a memorable gift or your next great adventure, Hidden Battleship offers an unforgettable behind-the-scenes experience unlike any other. Visitors are encouraged to reserve their spots early. Tickets and additional information are available at https://bit.ly/hiddenbattleship
