2026 Maine State Grip Sport Championships

Event 1) Max Dynamometer -  Each athlete will receive 3 attempts, 30 second time limit per attempt. The athletes highest score of their 3 attempts will be their final score. You do not need to use all 3 of your attempts. The GD DYNO-200 model will be used, it can be purchased on the Cannon PowerWorks website. Event 2) Ironmind Blockbuster This event will be contested to 6". Each athlete will receive 4 attempts, 60 second time limit per attempt. This is a rising bar event, if an athlete misses a weight, they may retake it if they have attempts remaining, however they may not decrease the weight. Event 3) Rogue Grandfather Clock This event will be contested to 6". Each athlete will receive 4 attempts, 60 second time limit per attempt. This is a rising bar event, if an athlete misses a weight, they may retake it if they have attempts remaining, however they may not decrease the weight. Event 4) Two Hand 2-3/8" Napalm Nightmare Rolling Handles This event will be contested to 6". Each athlete will receive 4 attempts, 60 second time limit per attempt. This is a rising bar event, if an athlete misses a weight, they may retake it if they have attempts remaining, however they may not decrease the weight. Event 5) Strongman Archaeology Medley The Strongman Archaeology Medley will consist of various Plate Hubs, Anvils, and Inch Style Bells from James Fuller's personal collection.
