EVENT 1 — MAX REP WAGON WHEEL TRAP BAR DEADLIFTOn the judge's start command, athletes will perform as many successful Wagon Wheel Trap Bar Deadlifts as possible within 60 seconds. Atheletes will strap in BEFORE time starts. The judge will give a down command for every successful rep completed within the 60 second time frame. ALL reps must receive a down command before the time expires. Should time expire as the lift is happening, it will not be counted toward the athlete's final score. Lockout is important and a full lockout will count as long as hips are through and shoulders are back with no soft knees. Any lockout modifications should be approved by the judge prior to starting the event. The athlete with the most successful reps in 1 minute will win the event. FULL RESET OF EVERY REP! NO TAP AND GO ALLOWED! FOR MINI BEAST COMPETITORS: YOU WILL DEADLIFT WITH A LIGHTER TRAP BAR OFF OF CRASH PADS. SAME RULES AND LOCKOUT STANDARDS APPLY!4 Time cap: 60 seconds EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: chalk, soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves/wraps, wrist wraps, straps of any kind, except any kind of hooks. EQUIPMENT NOT ALLOWED: absolutely no sticky substances or tacky of any kind. EVENT 2 - FRAME CARRY INTO 3 REP AXLE CLEAN & PRESSOn the judge's start command, athletes will begin with a 40-foot frame carry before dropping and immediately transitioning to the AXLE for 3 full clean & press repetitions. Unlimited drops will be allowed on the frame carry. AXLE must be fully controlled all the way back down to the pads before performing another rep. Lock out is head and hips through with feet together (NO SPLIT JERK STANCE) to receive a down command. Any modifications to your lockout must be approved by judge. Fastest time wins the event. Should you not complete the full three clean and press reps before the 75 seconds is up, reps + time will be taken. If no reps are complete, frame distance + time will be taken. You may STRICT PRESS, VIPER PRESS, PUSH PRESS, JERK, SPLIT JERK log reps as long as every rep finishes with feet together and all reps are cleaned all the way back down to the pads. FOR MINI BEAST COMPETITORS: Same rules apply but you will do a trap bar carry into a axle clean and press every rep. DBs must touch the ground before every rep! Our axle is 25lbs empty! EVENT 3 - MAX REP KEG to SHOULDEROn the judge's start command, athletes will pick up the keg from the floor and lift it to the shoulder for as many successful repetitions as possible in 60 seconds. Athletes will start hands off keg, but may adjust keg to their desired start position prior to their attempt. A successful reps will be counted when control of the keg is shown on the shoulder with one hand off the keg point directly off to the side with feet together. Athletes will not receive a down command for a rep until this lockout is successfully shown. The athlete with the most successful reps of the keg to shoulder in 60 seconds will win the event. FOR MINI BEASTS WE ARE WORKING TO FIND AND FILL A COUPLE OF SMALLER KEGS FOR YOU. IF THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, WE WILL BE GIVING YOU ALL A SANDBAG TO SHOULDER EVENT. On the judges start commands, athletes will run to their first sandbag and toss it over the uprights before continuing the same pattern with the other three sandbags. Sandbags will get progressively heavier. Sandbags MUST CLEAR the upright to be counted. Should it land on top of uprights, rep will still count. Any missed or haywire tossed sandbags will be the responsibility of the athlete to retrieve and retry the rep. The athlete with the fastest completion of all four sandbags within 60 seconds will win the event. Should not all sandbags be completely, succesfully tossed in the allotted time, we will take reps completed plus time for points. FOR MINI BEASTS WE WILL BE DOING THIS SAME EVENT WITH THE LIGHTEST WEIGHTS POSSIBLE AND THE MOST REASONABLE HEIGHT POSSIBLE. SAME RULES AND STANDARDS APPLY. Height of uprights for weight classes is yet to be determined. Time cap: 60 seconds EQUIPMENT ALLOWED: chalk, soft belt, hard belt, knee sleeves/wraps, wrist wraps. Athletes will have 60 seconds to complete a successful attempt. Should the truck not be pulled the full distance in 60 seconds, the time and distance completed will be taken for points. The athlete with the fastest completed time wins.
