Capitol's Strongest*We have now reached athlete capacity for both general registration and the waitlist. However, we are still in need of more volunteers! Please contact Bradie Crandall at crandall.bradie@gmail.com if interested in volunteering. COMPETE FOR YOUR CHANCE TO EARN THE TITLE OF CAPITOL'S STRONGEST MAN/WOMAN AND RECEIVE AN INVITE TO NATIONALS Featuring Guest Judge: Olga Liashchuk Follow the competition on Instagram for the latest news and updates "@CapitolsStrongest". This is a Strongman Corporation sanctioned event. Qualifications will be available for 2027 Nationals. Qualifications are based on the number of competitors in each class on competition day. ALL COMPETITORS are required to have an active Strongman Corporation membership to compete. You can purchase your membership here, on the Strongman Corporation website. Strongman Corporation membership is different than a USS membership. Be sure you have the correct membership for competing in this federation. PrizesAwards for the top 3 finishers of each weight class General Guidelines, Rules, and Weight ClassesAmateur National's bids will be awarded in Open classes based on the number of athletes in each class as follows: - 1 athlete in a class: the promoter may merge the class with another class; if the athlete competes alone they will earn an invite by completing (i.e. not “zeroing”) at least 4 of the 5 events to the standards originally set forth by the promoter. - 2-4 athletes in a class: 1st place qualifies for Nationals - 5-9 athletes in a class: 1st and 2nd place qualify for Nationals - 10+ athletes in a class: 1st-3rd place qualify for Nationals Masters Athletes qualify for America's Strongest Master by placing in the top 3 of a master's class *or* in the top 5 of an Open class. However, note that there is currently no nationals for 60+ masters athletes.  Teens qualify for America's Strongest Teen by participating in a Teen, Novice, or Open division. Trans athletes: I am committed to creating the fairest and most inclusive competition environment possible. Strongman Corporation's official trans athlete policy can be found here. Any trans athlete should reach out to the meet director at crandall.bradie@gmail.com before signing up to ensure all Strongman Corporation guidelines have been met. Competition shirts must be worn for all events. Weigh InsWeigh-ins will be conducted in KILOGRAMS and there is NO "allowance" for clothing. For example, an athlete in the 64kg class must weigh in at 64.0kg or less. Athletes must weigh in wearing (minimally) the appropriate undergarments for their gender.  Weigh in and yoke height times: 24 hour weigh in for Friday 12/11: 9am-11am and 5-7pm Competition day weigh in 12/12: 7-8amAll athletes must show their current Strongman Corp Membership at weigh ins.
