New Year’s EVIL Strongman Competition RulesHercules Hold Weight will be loaded onto the bar prior to the attempt. Competitors will hold the weight for as long as possible. The longest successful hold wins. This event will be performed using the Hero’s Hold by Teddy Bear Strength. Log Press This event will be contested as a one-rep max. For the men’s division, any attempt over 200 pounds will be performed on a Slater True Log. One-Hand Deadlift Competitors may use any legal supportive equipment, including straps and suits. Only one hand may be in contact with the bar during the lift. The heaviest successful lift wins. Yoke Squat The yoke will begin from a fixed starting position. The competitor must stand the weight to full completion and remain in control until given the down command. This event will be contested as a maximum-weight attempt. All supportive equipment is permitted. General Rule Unless otherwise stated above, all equipment is allowed. Event officials will have final authority regarding successful attempts, commands, and event execution.
