Bill Leverton's CD Release Party

Bill Leverton grew up with a jukebox in the house and music in the air, so it's kinda surprising it took him 50 years to figure out what he wanted to be when he grew up. His debut album, Figured It Out, was released digitally in March of 2026. The genre-defying album includes blues, rock, doo-wop, folk and more. Colin Allured has spent his life following music wherever it leads, from classical and rock and roll to blues, gospel, and the zydeco of his native Louisiana. Along the way he dove deep into Indian classical music, Middle Eastern drumming, and West African string music, and all of it finds its way into his songwriting, improvisation, and composition. Based in Winston-Salem, Colin enjoys a busy schedule of teaching, performing, and recording. He is the resident performer at the Mossy Hill Listening Room and the creator of Mantra Dance, a world music project. At the heart of it all is a simple belief: music is medicine. Admission: $10.
